Each jar is hand-poured and made with pure soy wax which allows for maximum fragrance concentration and scent throw, giving each candle a strong scent and a long-lasting aroma. Paired with a crackling wooden wick, enjoy a beautiful flickering flame and soft crackling sounds that are reminiscent of cozy nights by a fireplace.
WHY A SOY CANDLE:
Soy wax is derived from a vegetable, (soybeans), while its counter partner, paraffin wax is derived from petroleum (a refined gasoline product).
Soy wax is a natural, renewable resource.
- Soy wax is biodegradable and cleans up with plain old soap and water.
- Soy wax has a lower melting point than paraffin wax and because of this, soy candles will burn slower and longer than paraffin candles.
- Soy wax burns with zero petro soot, creating petro soot free candles. Paraffin candles burn with petro-soot.
Because these candles are hand-poured there may be some imperfections in the surface of the wax. This is normal and expected, especially for natural soy wax, and does not affect the performance of the candle.
Wood wicks sometimes take a couple of tries before lighting just as wood burning in a fireplace may take a couple of tries before lighting. This is normal! Make sure your wood wick is trimmed down to 1/4” and doesn’t have any previously burnt residue before lighting.
Burn within sight and away from flammable objects, children, and pets. Burn on heat-safe surfaces. Avoid Drafts. Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours. Trim wick to 1/4" before re-lighting. Do not burn candle when only 1/2" wax remains. Do not move or touch liquid wax. If glass starts to turn black, do not use it.
